About our Program 

For more than five decades, International Girl has been dedicated to developing confident young women who lead with purpose, kindness, and character. More than a pageant, International Girl is a youth development program designed to help participants strengthen their communication skills, build self-confidence, discover their talents, and become leaders within their schools and communities.

Our competition celebrates the qualities that make every young woman unique through four foundational areas: Talent, Beauty, Poise, and Personality. We believe true beauty goes far beyond appearance—it is reflected in confidence, character, compassion, and the ability to positively influence others.

More Than a Competition

International Girl provides young women with opportunities to grow both on and off the stage. Through competition, community involvement, friendships, and leadership experiences, participants are encouraged to:

• Demonstrate poise, personality, and sportsmanship

• Become active leaders in their schools and communities

One Program. Three Levels. An International Experience.

The International Girl experience is built around a three-tier competition program, giving participants opportunities to grow and advance throughout the year.

Preliminary Competitions introduce contestants to the International Girl experience in a welcoming environment while providing valuable stage experience and opportunities for personal growth.

State Competitions bring contestants together to represent their communities, compete for state titles, and earn the opportunity to advance to the international stage.

The highlight of our year is the International Girl Grand Finals, where contestants and families come together for an unforgettable week of competition, celebration, friendship, and tradition. It is where our program's brightest young leaders showcase everything they have worked toward throughout the year.
